You have to start somewhere..

So, I realize I'm a little late jumping on the blog-train. I follow many of my friends' blogs, but every time I have thought about starting my own, it seems like we don't have anything "interesting enough" going on to write about. By creating this blog, I hope to capture many moments in our life as our family grows. Years from now, I know it will be fun to look back on it all through this. On top of that... we don't own a video camera and I can't find enough time for scrapbooking!

It's slowly becoming my favorite time of year- fall. Not just fall because the calendar says so, but the kind of fall that starts with cool mornings that turn into beautiful afternoons. The time of year when you can find a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and see leaves start to change color. I love seeing pumpkin patches on street corners and hearing what all of the children at school are going to be for Halloween.

Peyton has been growing up so fast lately it seems; she's got such a great little personality. She's actually a goofball, truth be told. (I believe she gets that from her father..) She loves swinging, collecting leaves outside, ring around the rosie-ing, and "reading" books. She has become very attached to her "Elly" (a soft elephant), and carries it around with her everywhere at home. She is such a sweet little joy in our lives.
