Eggcellent Weekend Festivities

This past weekend was all about family and friends-- the best kind of weekend.  After finally being free of pink eye for a couple days, (no excitement just yet; it's back now), I was ready to participate in all things springtime. We started off Friday night with our first egg hunt of the weekend at Buck Lake Babies.  Peyton had a great time jumping in the bounce house and looking for eggs for her "back-et".




Saturday, we went to a lunch-time Easter egg hunt at the Drake's house.  We enjoyed a great outdoor picnic, played with precious bunnies, and watched about 20 kids roam run crazily though the Drake's yard in search of brightly colored plastic eggs.


Does this one count Mommy?

Easter morning, Peyton woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had brought her a basket full of goodies.  She then lovingly spread the Easter grass from her basket all over the living room floor, which was super fun to clean up later on. We then went to church and spent a great afternoon with our family.  We ate good food, played outside with the kids, and shared lots of laughs.
