Christmas Re-cap

As I sit here and look at the bare Christmas tree in my living room (I promise it will be gone this weekend, don't judge..), I can't help but smile and think about what a wonderful Christmas break we all had this year. Rob took his vacation time to go along with mine, so we had lots of family time with the little miss. We slept in (until about 7am), ate lunch all together, baked (obviously me, not Rob), watched movies, and just enjoyed our time.

Christmas was slightly different this year with an on-the-go almost 2 year old. Peyton was a bit more into everything this time around, however, I do think she was a bit overwhelmed by all of the bows, paper, and presents that accumulated around her. We got a few presents unwrapped and then once her BFF's (our dogs) "opened" their raw-hide gifts, she was much more interested in watching them chew on their bones. I think next year will really be when all of the magic of Christmas begins for her. I already can't wait.
Here are some moments from over the break:

Christmas morning, went straight for the doggie.
"Bay-dee Mmmm"

At Sweetie & Pop's with Cousin Nathan

"Christmas chaos"

Full-blown Santa tantrum.

"The aftermath".

Couldn't ask for anything more. What a great way to end 2010.
